Did you forget to get yourself a special Vida Vegan Con water bottle or t-shirt at the conference? Sort of wish you had an extra mug? Or maybe you didn’t go to the conference this year but still want to pick up some new VVC gear. We get it, and we’ve got it for you in the Vida Vegan Shop.
The truth is, we strive to keep our registration pricepoint low (free for some) and our sponsorships accessible, so more people have the chance to join us at our events. And we have lost sponsors for refusing to give them our mailing lists, send out sponsored emails, or allow them to present demos at the event—and we feel OK with that. We’re proud to stand up and say no to demands we feel would upset the positive, inspirational, creative vibe of the Con. (Obviously, our sponsors help make these things happen, and we truly do love the ones we work with—and hope you do too.)
That means it’s largely the three of us ladies doing as much of the work ourselves as possible to keep costs down. That also means when you buy a t-shirt, you help us put together a deposit toward the next event without us having to compromise the integrity of Vida Vegan organizers and attendees.
You have no idea how greatly we appreciate that. We’ll hug you all next time we see you, seriously.
Thank you, and enjoy!
UPDATE: Preorder is now closed. We will have some extras in various sizes available at registration, and any left over after the conference will be available for order online. Thanks!
Remember our t-shirt design contest?
We had a bunch of really fun and creative submissions, and we’re excited to present to you our winner, Sutton Long. Sutton is a San Francisco–based freelance graphic designer and is art director for VegNews magazine. When not working, she loves walking her dog around SF and taking photos (@suttonlong on Instagram). Favorite place for a dog walk in Portland: Mt. Tabor Park.
Check out Sutton’s design:
Here’s what it looks like mocked up on a t-shirt!
These are printed here in Portland by Ink Brigade, just like our 2011 shirts. Also like 2011, we’re using the same shirt styles: a more fitted, ladies’ cut and a more traditional unisex cut. Unlike last time, our color is a gunmetal shade of gray.
Click on the sizing links to figure out what you are, because we all know individual manufacturers’ ideas of sizes don’t really mean anything.
We are doing these on a preorder basis so we have enough of everyone’s sizes. Get your order in by Monday, April 29, so we can get them printed up in time for you to pick them up at registration. And yes, we’ll order a few extras of assorted sizes, but best be safe and place your preorder.
Ready? Know your size? Make sure, because we can’t do refunds and might not have extras to do exchanges.)

Oh my my! Vida Vegan Con t-shirts are here! We’re super in love with them and hope you are too!
These are printed here in Portland by Ink Brigade, on American-made t-shirts. We’ve got a more fitted, ladies’ cut and a more traditional unisex cut, both chocolate brown. Click on the sizing links to figure out what you are, because we all know individual manufacturers’ ideas of sizes don’t really mean anything.
Here’s the rub: We need to order these Tuesday, August 9. Wait! That’s
tomorrow! TODAY! You have until 4:00 PST to pre-order! So think fast and act fast. We’ll have some extras made, but to make sure you get one that fits you, we strongly urge you to pre-order. We’ll have it for you when you register at the conference (or can mail it to you if you can’t make it).
So now that you’ve checked out the sizes,
click this here link to order yours now! You must specify size in the “special instructions” field. And seriously, think hard and check out the sizing links before you choose.
See you in a few weeks!
UPDATE: The order is closed. We will have extras at the conference, so you’re not totally out of luck. There’s a sliver.
