Q. What is the Tech Seminar?
The Tech Seminar is a one-day concentration of classes on the technical aspects of blogging/web presence. Class size will be limited to 50, and all classes will take place in a single room. You won’t have to choose between classes, and you’ll be sure to have your tech questions answered. You’ll still have a chance to socialize/network with the other geeks (including us).

Q. What is the date and location of the Tech Seminar?
The seminar will be held on the 4th floor of the Seattle Public Library on Saturday, November 3, 2012. We’ll run from 9am to 5pm…so we can all go out for some Seattle fun afterward!

Q. I’m such a newb! Will I be able to get anything out of the classes?
Of course! Our instructors understand that they’re the experts in the room and they need to dole out that knowledge in a way us regular people will understand. And we’ll leave plenty of time for Q&A.

Q. I use a PC and an Android smartphone. Will I get anything out of this, or is it all gonna be Mac this, iPhone that?
Again, our instructors know they’re dealing with a wide audience. They’ll make sure to address different equipment and operating systems.

Q. Is this the only other seminar Vida Vegan produces?
Funny you should ask! The Vida Vegan organizers thought it would be cool to host, in addition to the giant three-day Con, smaller one-day seminars, each focusing on a very specific topic. The Tech Seminar is the first in that series. We plan to center the next one on starting/owning a vegan business.
