Just to update – we’ve signed on six local businesses now. We have room for small number more, so please get in touch ASAP if you’d like to join us and show off your vegan goods!
Here’s a little secret we’ve been keeping – the makings of a very special, one-of-a-kind Portland Vegan Breakfast Showcase! We’ve already signed on a couple of top secret, pretty much world-renowned vegan eateries so far, and we’re looking to get even more involved! So, here’s the deal – if you’re a vegan-friendly restaurant, cart, caterer, pop-up, personal chef, and like to feed vegans in the Portland metro area, read on!
If you’re a fan of a certain Portlandia establishment and would love to eat even more of their biscuits & gravy, tofu scramble, muffins, breakfast tacos or fresh juices – whatever, we’re in, go ahead and send this their way or shoot us an email.
In case you haven’t heard….Portland, OR is a wonderful place with lots of vegans who love their brunch, and we’d love to make this event happen!
The details…Portland Vegan Breakfast Showcase at Vida Vegan Bloggers Conference:
This May, Vida Vegan Con is proud to introduce the Portland Vegan Breakfast Showcase for its second international vegan bloggers conference. This Showcase will focus on local, Portland-area vendors and their plant-based breakfast and brunch options, that make them vegan must-visits in a city so well known for its brunch hot spots. We dig your biscuits and gravy, tempeh bacon, tofu scrambles, Benedicts, muffins, and fresh juice (and more!), and we want to share them with our attendees in a very special way.
This showcase will be held during our breakfast hours on Saturday, May 25, 2013. There will be 300-325 attendees stopping by for breakfast, and with a three-day schedule of classes, panels, workshops, and more, we thought we’d help bring even more of Portland’s famous vegan options right to them.
The idea is to host a diverse range of restaurants with small portions during our breakfast period, which will be offered small-plate and buffet style.
Our conference is attended by vegan bloggers, photographers, cookbook authors, writers, enthusiasts, the veg-curious, and media types of all sorts—they write about and photograph everything! This would be a fantastic opportunity for them to even ask your chef(s) a question or two so it’d be a good idea to have the chef present, but it is not necessary.
This is a special invitation to our favorite vegan breakfast and brunch options, and we hope you can make it.
