Registration

Registration is now open sold out for the 2013 Vida Vegan Con!  If you are looking for a ticket, search @VidaVeganCon on Twitter or check the Facebook page for folks who are no longer able to attend and need to transfer their registration.

This three-day event will be held May 24-26, 2013, at the Portland Art Museum in Portland, Oregon.

Please read our 2013 registration details:

We’ll be starting with early bird registration at 12pm PST on Sunday, July 1, 2012. The first 100 tickets will be available for $200 each. !!!These Early Bird tickets all got snatched up within 24 hours!!! After that, we will open general registration at $280 for full weekend attendance. Depending on availability and our door list, we will do our best to open a small number of additional tickets later in the year. Please know that this is subject to change and like all of registration, will remain first come, first served. No exceptions.

Your registration will include all classes and workshops, conference meals (official breakfasts, lunches, snacks), reception(s), welcome package, and what 2011 VVC’ers are still gushing about: the SWAG Bag of Wonder.

All tickets are nonrefundable, and we will not be handling registration transfers this year. We simply don’t have the time to handle this, so act fast, but think hard and check your calendar first. If you decide to transfer or purchase a ticket for someone else, you are financially responsible for the transaction and providing Vida Vegan with the updated contact information for the registrant in a timely manner.

Tickets do not include travel or lodging.  Check out our Travel & Lodging pages for room blocks and other information and tips.

About Solicitation: Don’t do it. We want our attendees to feel comfortable throughout the conference. If you’re simply here to sell something, exhibitor tables are available (see Sponsorship page). Our attendees should not be solicited except for at the exhibitor tables. Network all you like, but let’s keep it friendly…or you may be asked to leave. Nobody wants that.

Please be sure to read all the above Registration information before hitting the PayPal link. By purchasing your ticket, you are confirming that you agree with our terms. Thanks!

  2. [...] I’m registered for Vida Vegan Con 2013!  Registration opened yesterday – I had pop-up and email reminders working overtime at 2:45 so that I wouldn’t miss the 3:00 pm EST early bird registration frenzy.  Why all the excitement? The first 100 tickets were available for $200 (regular price is $280).  So, how did it work out for me? Turns out I refreshed the webpage just enough to buy the very first ticket!  You may be thinking, “what exactly is Vida Vegan Con?”  It’s the best conference I have ever attended! To be more specific, it’s a conference for vegan lifestyle bloggers.  I learned so much about veganism, vegan activism, and blogging last year. The 2013 conference, back in vegan food truck heaven Portland, OR, will be held in May. Will I see you there? Register today! [...]

  4. [...] Vida Vegan Con registration is live. And the first 100 tickets, priced an the Early Bird rate, were snatched up within 24 hours (23 hours, 33 minutes, if you want to be super Michele about it). Janessa, Jess, and I have obviously done a bunch of planning already, and we’ve got around 10 months to finish it up, but the idea that 100 people acted that fast to register is mind-blowing. My mind is blown. [...]
