Mimosa & MoFo Saturday

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the opening of the VVC Cocktail Lounge. We have soft jazz, sophisticated cocktails and the finest vegan hors d’oeuvres heading your way. Since it’s still early in the day, I wanted to start us off with something simple, the classic mimosa.

The little mimosa, Dots Cafe

Combine: equal parts orange or grapefruit juice – the fresher the better – and champagne or sparkling wine.

Garnish suggestions: citrus peel, sliced peach, berries

Vegan to vegan, do your best to seek out and encourage vegan-friendly sparkling wine. Just like normal wine, many vineyards use animal ingredients in the filtration process, but not all. Your odds of finding vegan-friendly bubbles are usually higher when you look for Prosecco, and it’s just as lovely.
