Guess who’s open all weekend?

Our favorite downtown food cart – our friends at the one, the only, the 100% vegan, 100% awesome, and 100% fantastically creative Homegrown Smoker Vegan BBQ.

That’s right, they’re extending their hours for conference goers (okay, and the rest of Portland, too) and will be open till 8pm on Friday, 6pm on Saturday, and 4pm on Sunday. They’re the only off-site lunch we officially endorse (cause, you know, we have a buffet and stuff, but shhhh). Not only that, they’re down the freaking block from the conference center and dorms, and the closest 100% vegan option around!

Let’s put it this way…

You want BBQ tempeh and a side of greens? Check. That’s easy! You want a Philthy NoCheese Steak? Check. You want something with nori-breaded Fufish? Check. You want a Smoked Chipotle Corn Doggy? Check. You want a Chili Shroom Burger? Check! Can’t you grasp this brilliance? Fine, you want Jess’ lunchtime go to, the oh-so-creamy vegan mac & cheese? Check! One more thing – You want coconut battered oreos? Check. Believe it.
